Cutting Tight V Turns

Cut into the leaf from any easy starting point. When you come to that tight V cut to the bottom of the V and stop.

Back up to the waste area. Make a turn around there so your blade will be facing to cut the line already cut out.

Now back the blade into the bottom of the V and cut out from there in the new direction

Notice the hole made when you turn directions is now in the waste area of the wood.

Continue cutting the leaf  out.

Notice how the cut line did not follow the leaf pattern. Once the pattern is removed nobody will ever know the line was missed. Just cut the line to follow in a nice flow with where the original line was drawn.

Really I drew the leaf, and cut the line where I met to draw it. I have to touch up a lot of the patterns that way. Those artist just can't draw !!!!
