DEL-ROC.jpg (35054 bytes)Another friend gave me this Rockwell -Delta. It is in perfect condition, but it was always just a display item. Probably made in the 40's.

Crafrig.jpg (47128 bytes)A Craftsman rigid arm saw. Made in the 40's I think.

Had a reply from  T.W. GALLOWAY JR. about this saw.

WELL YOU ARE REAL CLOSE. IN 1938 "APPROXIMATLY" MY DAD BOUGHT ONE. IN 1997 HE GAVE IT TO ME WITH THE ORIGINAL INSTRUCTION SHEET & PARTS LIST.

ACCORDING TO THE SHEET IT IS A "CRAFTSMAN MODEL 2261 JIG SAW". HAND WRITTEN AT THE TOP DAD SAID "BOUGHT  APPROX 1938" & "PRICE UNDER $18.00."

WARD.jpg (31376 bytes)Ward77.JPG (146107 bytes)This is an old Ward's saw that was given to me by a friend. Not all the parts are there so it does not run. Someone wrote me their parents gave them one of these in the mid 30's as a present. One of the first projects they did was Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs.

Driver.jpg (35021 bytes)Probably made in the 40's. Raised lettering on the frame says it is from  the DRIVER'S LINE  of saws.

Power.jpg (25958 bytes)A Power Craft that was to have been made in the 1930's. I bought this as a setup with a drill press, and grinder all on one common power shaft.
